Top 5

And no, this has nothing to do with sports, believe it or not. Every Sunday night I am going to try to post my Top 5 favorite songs of the past week. Just a little tradition I thought I might like to do. So, for this past week my Top 5 were:

5) BTO - You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet
4) Steve Miller Band - Wide River
3) .38 Special - Hold On Loosely
2) Foreigner - Head Games
1) Journey - Don't Stop Believing

And all this proves that I should have been born in the 60s or 70s. ;-) I'm outdated, but I could care less. Personally, I think that man stopped making good rock and roll in the mid 90s, though an occasional song might pop up here and there. The 60s-80s were the days, and I love 'em. You name any band from that day, and I probably have a song I love by them.

Ok. Now you know more about me then you wanted to. I will post my next five next Sunday. Until tomorrow.

I agree. No one has made *good* rock or Jazz for *years*! *snarls* Ah well. At least we still have the Los Lonely Boys.

Is it my turn to respond to the giganitc email, or yours? I lost track, I think. lol

See you in July! (Scary thought) ;)

Ah, thank you Juliet! *eats popcorn and waits for Ethan to post*

Oh, Juliet, remind me to tell you about the story I'm working on right now. It's got you in it! Ethan is in it too. Actually, most everyone on the Junior Inklings is in it! *grins* Now, can you guess where I got the idea for this story? ;D

Cheers, you two!

Eth, we're going to bombard this post with comment until you post again.

*nods head sagely*

Ooh, Faith! That sounds neat!! I want to read it. :-)

Post! Post! Post!

By the way... my siblings have "Song of the Mouth" memorized by now, lol.

Juliet, I'll send my story to you once I have a bit finished. I keep starting it over, though. Beginnings are the hardest part for me. Once I get a few chapters in, I'm fine. Ah well. Perhaps I'll find the perfect beginning sometime soon. :)

Eth, are you getting the hint yet? ;-)

Addie said...

By the way, I pretty much have the Song of the Mouth memorized too. lol!!

*dons her awesome hat*

Addie said...

Haha! I'm the tenth comment!! *gloats* Now if we can just make it to twenty.

*insert Manuel's help here* ;)

Juliet SN said...

Eleventh comment! At the rate you're posting, we'll definitely make it to 20. ;-)

Addie said...

lol Yeah, since Eth isn't posting anything, and I'm commenting like crazy, we'll definitely get up to twenty before he posts again. *grins*

It was fun talking on the phone to you last night, Juliet! I'm glad you're going to come to the Trinity Festival! You and Grace Anne and I will have so much fun together. :D

Cheers!

By the way, tell your family I said hello, Juliet. Your dad was so nice last night. I'm glad I got to talk to him. :)

Juliet SN said...

*spazzes out* I can't wait to see you, Faith!!! It *was* fun talking with you on the phone. August can't come fast enough. :)

I will, *smiles*

By the way, Eth, whenever you *do* see this -

(How many of these comments has he seen? *wonders*)

- how far are you from KB's house?

*goes back to writing GB paper* This final paper is SO much fun to write!

Juliet SN said...

All righty, we're 5 comments away from 20...

You *must* post. ;-)

Addie said...

Wait!! Don't tell him that, Julietta! We have to use reverse psychology, remember? ;-)

Don't post, Ethan. It's so not worth it.

*Buahahaha*

Juliet SN said...

Oh, right.

*puts on nonchalant face*

Just forget about posting, Eth. ;-)

Addie said...

There you go, Juliet. You've got it now. *grins*

*starts singing Hey Juliet* ;D

Hey Eth, I hope you're enjoying this as much as we are. We'll be rather sad, I'm sure, when you actually *do* start posting. Ah well! We'll just have to keep commenting back and forth on *that* post! *winks*

*sings along with Faith*

Eth's going to get a lot of comments, whatever he does, lol.

By the way - I get to see you!! :-D July is going to me SO much fun, visiting KB, seeing you and Michael, then I come home for a couple of days, then I get to see Faith!! So much fun... *grins*

ETH!

I found your blog a while ago on Faith's blog and added it to my favorites. It seems to me that you ought to post on here (if you even go here to read your comments again...)! And what better thing to post about than Summer Academy? =) It was so amazing to meet you. And I really hope to see you again soon...Andrew's already in a road-trip train of thought. Mwahahaha.

Guess what?? I actually DO read this thing...ok, not really. I read it for the first time in 3 months like...5 minutes ago. 21 comments...man, talk about popular. ;-)

Faith: I am going to call you in about 10 minutes to let you know that I am up and running again on this thing.

Juliet: Um, same as above except you don't have a phone, so yeah. I guess I won't be saying anything to you, lol.

Shannon: (or is it Andrew? ;-)) Yeah, I am totally going to post about SA right now. I am so glad I was able to meet you! About the road trip: absolutely!! If ya'll have time just call me and ya'll can hang out with me in Charlotte for a few days...THAT would be awesome. Even if ya'll are passing through even REMOTELY close to Charlotte; I can drive. Just let me know. ;-)
